(1) The B.E.G. One service consists of an app that is only used locally on your end device and is used for remote control and project management, a Windows program with which the app can be used, and a cloud that is used for exchanging information with other end devices/users and for providing support. Personal data is all data that can be related to you personally, e.g. name, address, e-mail addresses, user behaviour.
(2) The responsible party pursuant to Article 4 (7) of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (DS-GVO) is B.E.G. Brück Electronic GmbH, Gerberstraße 33, 51789 Lindlar (see our imprint). (3) When you contact us by e-mail or via a contact form, your e-mail address and, if provided by you, your name and telephone number will be stored by us in order to answer your questions. We delete the data accruing in this context after the storage is no longer necessary or - in the case of statutory retention obligations - restrict the processing.
(4) If we use commissioned service providers for individual functions of our offer or would like to use your data for advertising purposes, we will inform you in detail about the respective processes below. In doing so, we will also state the specified criteria for the storage period.

(2) You also have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority about the processing of your personal data in our company.
§ 3 Use of the B.E.G. One Cloud
1) If you wish to use our cloud, you must register by providing your e-mail address, which is also used as your user name, and a password of your choice as well as a name of your choice. There is no obligation to use a clear name; pseudonymous use is possible. We use the so-called double-opt-in procedure for registration, i.e. your registration is only completed once you have confirmed your registration by clicking on the link contained in a confirmation e-mail sent to you for this purpose. If you do not confirm your registration within one month, your registration will be automatically deleted from our database. The provision of the aforementioned data is mandatory; you can provide all other information voluntarily by using our app.
(2) If you use our cloud, we store your data required for the fulfilment of the contract until you permanently delete your access. If your access has not been used for 2 years, it will be automatically deleted by us after prior notification by email. The data required to fulfil the contract will then also be deleted.
(3) The voluntary data you provide will be stored for a maximum period of 14 days. You can manage and change all data in the protected customer area. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f DS-GVO.

(4) In addition to the previously mentioned data, cookies are stored on your computer when you use the Cloud. Cookies are small text files that are stored in the device memory of your mobile end device and assigned to the app you are using. Through cookies, certain information can flow to the body that sets the cookie (here: us). Cookies cannot execute programs or transmit viruses to your mobile device. They serve to make the service as a whole more user-friendly and effective.
a. The following types of cookies are used, the scope and functionality of which are explained below:
- Transient cookies (see b)
- Persistent cookies (see c).
b. Transient cookies are automatically deleted when you close the service. These include, in particular, session cookies. The session cookies are deleted when you log out or close the app.
c. Persistent cookies are automatically deleted after a predefined period of time, which may differ depending on the cookie. You can configure the settings of your mobile operating system and the app according to your preferences and, for example, refuse to accept third-party cookies or all cookies. Please note that you may not be able to use all functions of our mobile app.
(5) In some cases, we use external service providers based in a country within the European Economic Area (EEA) to process your data. These have been carefully selected and commissioned by us, are bound by our instructions and are regularly monitored.

During the download, further user data is processed via the website, which we inform you about in the data protection declaration of our website (https://www.beg-luxomat.com/en/privacy-statement/).
